An 18-year-old man identified as Godspower, was reportedly murdered in cold blood, by suspected cultists just two days before he was to relocate to the United States of America. Prior to his death, Godspower who was popularly known as Big Gospel, was reportedly pursuing a career in music, even dropping out of school recently just to ensure his big dreams became reality. His life was cut short by suspected cultists who attacked and killed him on December 28, along Sapele road in Benin City, Edo state. According to reports, his heartbroken mother was seen sitting on a walkway, while crying her eyes out and heaping curses on her son's killers. There are reports that Godspower had been heard pleading for his life just before he was shot by his killers. His body was later taken away by the police.
